February 25: Deccan Chargers, the IPL Franchise have adopted Barabati Stadium, Cuttack as one of their home venues to conduct two matches in collaboration with Orissa Cricket Association. Deccan Chargers will play their first match against Kings XI, Punjab at 8.00 PM on March 19 and the second against Delhi Daredevils at 4.00 PM on March 21. All over India the tickets for IPL matches are sold online. But at the request of the Orissa Cricket Association and for the benefit of cricket lovers of Orissa, it has been decided to sell the tickets to the public from the OCA counters at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack and Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar on 16th March, 2010. OCA secretary Asirbad Behera has announced that the two counters at Cuttack and Bhubaneswar will be selling 10,000 tickets each on March 16. One person will be allowed to buy a maximum of two tickets for each of the two matches.
